| Membership |
Assistance League North Coast is always accepting new members who want
to make a difference in our community. Our membership is made up of
people from a wide variety of professional backgrounds such as educators,
bankers, nurses, business people, homemakers...the list goes on and on.
Our varied philanthropic programs provide many volunteering opportunities.
Funding for programs requires fundraising accomplished by our members.
We also plan different optional social events that allow our members to get to
know each other.
Membership involves the following obligations:
1. Annual dues of $80.
2. Attendance at monthly meetings, September though June
3. Fulfilling a financial obligation for our Autumn Fantasy fundraising
event each year
4. Working a minimum of one shift a month at our thrift shop.
5. Working on at least one philanthropic project.
The directory of the Assistance League is intended exclusively for the use of
our members and shall not be used as a mailing list for purposes other than
our organization. Donations to the chapter thrift shops are received from the
public with the intent that they will be used to enhance the charitable service
of the organization, not to provide an advantage or gain for an individual
member of the organization.
